Social Media SEO & Social Networking

 This week, we learned about the importance of establishing a presence on social media through SEO strategies.  One of the biggest lessons that I personally learned about this topic, is that I personally am very unadapt at the use of social media and need to find ways to branch out for the overall success of my business.  It is a sad truth that businesses who do not prioritize their social media presence are destined to struggle more when it comes to establishing that following that is so important to financial success.  It is for this reason that I am planning on beginning to create a social media page to help manage the financial success of my business.  This week we learned about properly optimizing your landing page and managing your basic SEO for your site.  Both of these principles are very important to the success of an online business, so because of that, learning about how I can more properly manage these vital principles for the success of my online company.   Landing page optimization is the process of you making sure your landing page, where your ads bring potential customers, is fully compatible in terms of information that is presented through your marketing efforts.  On top of this, you should make sure your page is aesthetically pleasing, and also makes it clear what the next step is for the customers. ROI & Optimizing Ads

This week we focused on ROIs and optimizing our ads performance.  Here in this class, since we are required to be putting in small amounts of money to help our business take off, achieving that ROI (Return On Investment) will be very simple and hopefully quick to come about.   In order to achieve a good ROI though, optimizing our ads performance must be something that we do to ensure that our online businesses are being shared with those on the internet.  The way that I focused on optimizing my ads was making sure that each of the keywords that I am using are the most efficient and effective that they could be.  In order to do this, I both added and removed key words in my advertisements so that I could know of a certainty that my ads would be getting out to those who are looking for a service like my own. 

Google Analytics and Quality Score

     This week we learned about the benefits of having programs like Google Analytics and Google Ads monitor your work and company.  Doing this can help you see in what areas your business is struggling either in its pages, ads, or products.  This is possible through a system that Google has developed where your ads can receive a score to show you their efficiency, and your website can have a link imbedded into the code allowing Google Analytics to be able to monitor specific parts of your site, products, etc. so that you can know where and how your business could improve.        As we have been learning about this, we have also been working on implementing these programs into our own sites.   Doing this was a relatively simple process that allows for a greater potential for success and a more thorough understanding of what it is I can do to improve my own business’ performance.
