About Me

I am a student at Brigham Young University-Idaho.  I am currently a business management major who is planning on starting my own social services practice.  I have always been very interested in the moving parts of a family, and how they can affect each and every member in said family unit.

I am the oldest of four siblings, myself, Madison, Karlie, and Ava.  My parents, Roy and Rebecca have always done their absolute best to give me and my sisters the best upbringing that they possibly can, and to that, I am eternally grateful.  I hope that the lessons and topics that I will learn over the next semester will help me to become at least half the parent that they have been to me for my own future family.

I will be adding to this blog weekly for my family relations class, however, I look forward to doing this as well for both mine, and yours learning experiences here in regards to the family.  I hope that you find my notes and experiences interesting.  Feel free to share your thoughts because I would be very interested to hear about what you thing about the topics I will be discussing no matter how controversial they may seem.

Transitions in Marriage

          Is it Halloween already?!   Holy cow this year is flying by.   It never fails to surprise me how quick time really does pass.   Amidst all the spooks and scares this week, my class kept chugging along with the message of families and their roles in society.   This week we talked about transitions in marriage.   It was a really important message and concept that I think everyone needs to hear and understand, especially with the rates of divorce we have in our society.   Hopefully I am able to help clarify understanding on this topic, if not that, at least spark some interest to learn more about it.   This topic is vital for every single one of us to understand and apply in our individual lives and marriages.   Doing so would most definitely help us all to be better people, enabling us to lift our marriages to higher places than wherever they may currently sit. Utilizing Proper Data and Same-Sex Parenting
